The JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business comprises 14 stores and a growing online and commercial business. There is a significant opportunity to grow and expand the JB Hi-Fi business in New Zealand and, over the next three years, we will be investing in improving the JB Hi-Fi New Zealand customer offer, refreshing the store network, opening new stores, and upgrading our online platform.

The Role

The successful candidate must be available to work a Sunday to Thursday roster.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate receiving of stock including receipting of stock, logging any discrepancies, correctly administering delivery related paperwork, and liaising with suppliers.
• Coordinating the picking and staging of stock for Customer Orders & Store Replenishment including ensuing stock is correctly labelled, consolidating any ‘transferred in’ small stock items, coordinating transport bookings of home deliveries, responding to store and/or customer enquiries regarding delivery related issues.
• Coordinating of Bulky Goods Return Logistics and “Old Bulky Goods Appliances” recycling.
• Perform stock counting / stock take duties as and when required.
• Assistance in facilitating returns, exchanges and associated vendor claims for credit, damage allowance.
• Adherence to all OH&S guidelines.
• Data Entry.

Skills & Experience

• Data Entry is a large portion of the responsibility and data entry skills are required to complete majority of tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends preferred.
• Warehouse / Storeroom operational experience.
